Our Story
Welcome to Peachy Keene. Our story begins when I was in elementary school. I was the typical "teacher's pet". I was always helping, always closely watching every move my teachers made, what their rooms looked like, and what they used in their rooms. This grew to a life-long dream of becoming a teacher and in 2014 I accomplished this dream. I taught First, Second, and Third Grades for 7 years. Then in 2022, I had my daughter Georgia, lovingly called Peachy by family. Having her changed my world and my life-long dream evolved into raising her.
As new parents, my husband and I were inundated with the variety of toys and books for babies and young children. Many of these toys, we found, were cheaply made. I knew I wanted books and toys that would grow with Georgia and last for years to come. I quickly found that my toy/book parameters were either part of a subscription box company that was expensive or hard to find locally in Tampa Bay.
With my teaching experience and multiple degrees in Elementary Education I knew that I could find toys and books that supported Georgia's learning for years to come. Thus, Peachy Keene was created in hopes of bringing quality toys to families around Tampa Bay.
